Established in 1987, Meson Don Felipe was the first Tapas Bar in London and we are still an independent, family-run business. You can expect great tapas and some amazing, well-priced Spanish wines, served in an authentic, relaxed atmosphere. We regularly go here after visiting The Young Vic. There’s always a warm welcome, great food and efficient service. The room can feel a bit tight and noisy when full - which it usually is - but that’s no bad thing on a street with plenty of alternatives! As a vegetarian, I always have some good options from the ‘Garden’ section of the menu, but who wouldn’t want more?! A good chickpea dish, for example, or beans? But the tortilla, escalivada (peppers, onions, aubergines and tomatoes) and berenjenas (battered aubergines) will always keep me happy - and the vegetarian paella is fantastic!

Fantastic little restaurant! Service is excellent, you are greeted at the door, and your coats are taken away. Food was delicious and very fast from ordering to receiving. Even tho you are in the middle of London it feels very authentic and is ran by spaniards who are so lovely and offer incredible service, always checking in. Food was reasonable priced and they also offer a vast range of some amazing Spanish wines
