Where to begin?! Firstly, what a cool building this bar is in. With a powerful insignia on top of the roof, you will appreciate the level of detail this place obtains. Secondly, once inside, you’re transported to a celestial world, from which you may not return the same! The drinks, Thirdly, will blast your face off, possibly your pants! The “Homing Beacon,” is a great place to start or finish. Very smooth, very sweet, very chill. Follow it up with a “Self-Destruct Sequence,” and you’re sure to get lost in space. If you need something to reel you back in, the bread will do the trick, but if you don’t have the potatoes, did you even go? I could eat them for an entirnity! Good luck and Godspeed!

This is my favorite spot in Little Italy. I celebrate birthdays here and bring visitors to San Diego who I’m trying to impress. My vegan friends are thrilled by the menu and my non-vegan friends can’t believe how good all the menu items are. The crew at Civico 1845 is kind and attentive - seriously everyone who works here is friendly and hospitable. Never had a bad experience here and I’ll keep coming back with that expectation.

We’ve dined here at Blade several times now and the food, service and ambience is always wonderful. One of our favorites is the grilled octopus but all the offerings are delicious. My wife especially enjoys the rigatoni with sausage and mushrooms pasta. It tastes even better with some shrimp added in! The service is also always friendly and attentive but not intrusive. We always enjoy our experience at Blade 1936!
