Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. The seating times are 5-6:15pm and 7:45-8:30pm. Stefano's Diner is owned by Michelin recommended Gia Restaurant.Our plant based menu includes classic Italian fare: Focaccia, Mozzarella sticks, Baby Gem Salad, Arancini, Cashew Brie, Chicken Parmigiana, Buckwheat Rigatoni Bolognese, Plant based sandwiches on house made ciabatta, and the city's best plant based Smash Burger with bacon and blue cheese toppings. Saturday and Sunday Brunch we open at 10am serving Eggs Benny, BLTs, French Toast, Matcha Lattes, sandwiches and fresh juice. We offer 10 bar seats for walk in and 18 Dining room seats. The design is upscale with micro cemented walls and floors with a walnut and olive green banquette occupying most of the space.     An inventive, scrumptious, collection of perfectly balanced flavours, textures, aromas, and colours. Masterful dishes served in a gorgeous, cozy dining room by welcoming, unpretentious staff. Costly, but completely reasonable for the care and effort provided. Possibly the best dining experience I've had, anywhere.

    Loved the menu, the ambiance, and the service at Bar Avelo. Had the cheese board, flat bread, spiced cake from the Bar menu and all of it was delicious. I loved that even their drinks menu was entirely vegan. Can't wait to come back to try the 5 course menu at the Restaurant downstairs.

    Everyone (even the carnivore in the group) loved the meal. And ensured the celiac member was fully protected. Bang bang broccoli is a must. Love the lettuce wraps. Loved the cheesecake dessert. And perhaps my favourite thing was the mezcal cocktail with green garnish (name forgotten)- not sweet, great flavour. Excellent service
