Our bar is named for the Australian artist, Albert Tucker who once resided in the area and more importantly depicted our beautiful 19th century building in his 1937 landscape.We offer an ever-changing list of exciting wines by authentic small batch producers from all over the world, along with many classic 'non-wine' drinking options. Dear Richmond,This little restaurant is our love letter to food. It's our happy little place, where we get to live the joy of feeding people everyday. We all grew up in spaces that equated food with love, just like this place. Everything we have done here is deliberate, from the art on the walls to the produce we use. The Moon is your local wine bar focusing on minimal intervention wines that are, of course, delicious and speak of the place they were made. Our aim is simple: to source, acquire and serve the best wines we can find at any given price point, from Australia and around the world.We believe strongly in the idea that wine should taste like fruit and minerals instead of oak and alcohol. Always a lovely place to relax, eat and drink. Great wines and tasty cheeses and sammos. Really nice people looking after us and no rush to finish up. Highly recommended!

Had dinner here on a Tuesday night. Food exceeded my expectations and overall a really nice spot for a drink/meal, particularly when the weather is nice and you are able to sit at a table outside. Recommend

Great little wine bar away from the serious busyness of west end of Swan St. Extensive wine list, great outdoor area out the back and small but great selection of food. Service was brilliant. Will be back!
