My wife's cosmo that she normally orders was not made to its usual standard. Our server had them make it over, but it still was not very good, so she had to completely change her drink order. We ordered one of our favorite apps, the meatballs, and that too was not up to its usual standard. However, the crab cakes were great, and our surf and turf was excellent. The lobster melted in our mouth n the steak was tender n juicy. Naomi, our server, was extremely gracious and attentive. She even had the manager come over n apologize for the drink problem we had. Capital Grille has a great reputation for style, service and quality so I’m not totally surprised by our great dinner today but I will say this location went above and beyond for Valentine’s Day! Special thanks to our server, Matt for being a rock star with attentiveness, great communication, friendliness and charm. He took care of us without missing a beat. We ordered the Filet and Lamb Chops both seasoned and cooked to perfect. Also the new style of lobster and crab cake was amazing with the right sear and amazing flavor. The lobster bisque was creamy and well seasoned and the sides were a homerun (Sautéed Spinach and Mashed Potatoes). Thank you Parsippany location for showing out and putting on a great show.
