Albert's is a neighbourhood wine bar nestled behind the heritage listed Kings Arcade in the leafy backstreets of Armadale. Our bar is named for the Australian artist, Albert Tucker who once resided in the area and more importantly depicted our beautiful 19th century building in his 1937 landscape.We offer an ever-changing list of exciting wines by authentic small batch producers from all over the world, along with many classic 'non-wine' drinking options. Don’t expect a traditional restaurant menu, our kitchen offers up a variety of smaller, seasonal plates that are designed to share. Order one or two as a snack or combine several to create a more substantial meal.

Dear Richmond,This little restaurant is pour love letter to food. It's our happy little place, where we get to live the the joy of feeding people everyday. We all grew up in spaces that equated food with love, just like this place. Everything we have done here is deliberate, from the art on the walls to the produce we use. We've made a point of sourcing ingredients from some of the best suppliers in the state, making sure that our menu reflects what's in season. For us, this place is about experience: we try our best to make you feel both at home and 'out for something special'. Toorak Cellars is equal parts bottle shop and wine bar, located just opposite Toorak station on Beatty Avenue in Armadale. Our aim is simple: to source, acquire and serve the best wines we can find at any given price point, from Australia and around the world.We believe strongly in the idea that wine should taste like fruit and minerals instead of oak and alcohol. The wines we serve should reflect with great clarity the soil from which they were grown, and the four seasons that passed through that vineyard during a specific vintage.We serve a constantly changing twenty wines by-the-glass, or you can open any bottle straight off the shelf. We believe that wine should represent the place from which it was grown and the four seasons that pass through that place in a given year. We showcase vignerons who grow their fruit in a thoughtful way and who guide that fruit to bottle with the gentlest hand possible. We also serve a seasonal selection of small plates to enjoy with a glass (or two) of wine with cheese and dessert to finish with, as well as classic cocktails, rotating tap beers and a large selection of canned and bottled beer.The front bar has a few private tables as well as shared bar seating, great for enjoying the atmosphere. The courtyard is great on a sunny day and has heaters for the cold ones, and the cabin is home to a roaring fireplace for when it gets really chilly.Whilst reservations are recommended because we fill up quickly, we always keep a few tables aside for walk-ins.

Wine, pizza and trivia night. Good fun, good pizza. We were seated at the bar, close to the front section, which made it too hard to hear the quiz questions. Pizza was good, but food came out late. We like the casual vibe here, and the wine shop decor. We will go again.
