Husband and Wife team, Dennis Foy and Estella Quinones, are committed restaurateurs who counterbalance each other’s exacting artistic standards. Estella’s passion for design and Dennis’s interest in painting clearly reflects this sensibility.

The exciting twenty-eight seat restaurant d’floret is a modern elegantly-lit stage, featuring an open kitchen and adjoining dining room that exhibit the chef’s dual passions: Foy’s paintings and culinary mastery. The space is accented by a floor-to- ceiling Black Walnut Nakashima panel, lighting by Ayala Serfaty, the Israeli artist, with Arnie Jacobsen modern Classic chairs, finishing the sleek warm welcoming room.

Please note, due to high demand and limited seating, in addition to online holds we require diners call the restaurant to reconfirm your by 12pm day of, or it will not be honored.

The food was so delicious and cooked right in front of us to order. Two of us got the lamb, one got the veal chop, and one got the cod. All were fabulous. The profiteroles were a highlight as well.

The food and service were excellent. Although the scallops were delicious, there were only 4 small ones, I feel that they should either use the larger ones or have more in the portion.

The food was perfect! The service was charming and efficient and the restaurant is cozy and comfortable. Dinner was fantastic, thank you team de floret!

2nd time coming back here. And we were just as pleased as the first. Unbelievable cozy spot for a winter night. Staff and friendly and warm and the menu and food is fantastic. Looking forward to going back sooner than later!

first time here and will be back. Very small establishment and on a cold night, don’t sit near door. Food is high quality and well prepared with a variety of choices. Crap cake app is wonderful as was the beet salad over arugula; very tasty and unique flavor. Scallops were small but delicate and the accompanying sauce added unique flavor. Wait staff was good but brought us incorrect apps from another table which we started to eat and noticed they weren’t ours. Nice place, a bit spendy but BYOB helps. Cash only is preferred too!

Small but welcoming space. A good deal for restaurant week and probably normal times too. A chance to eat a menu from a true pioneer of NJ chefs.
