                                                    The Fat Canary never disappoints. As an out-of-towner, it's my second time having dinner at this restaurant. The food is wonderful and the ambience and staff delightful. I highly recommend!

                                                    This was the second time we visited Fat Canary for our anniversary. We’ve basically talked about going back since the first time we ate here. The ambience is excellent and the service is wonderful. The food is still among the best meals I’ve ever eaten, and anyone who dines here but doesn’t order the Macadamia Nut Pie for dessert is missing out!

                                                    Fat Canary was a really nice experience--good for groups as well as smaller tables like ours (4). The server/staff were very friendly and our dinners were excellent. We met one of the sous chefs before dinner and he made an excellent recommendation..

                                                    Honestly, my prior visits (two) were way better in terms of quality. The wait between appetizers and entrees was too long, on the point of bordering ridiculous. The cream of potato soup could have been creamier. The pork chop was tougher than expected, and the goat cheese bread pudding (the side) could have been softer and we only detected a hint of goat cheese.

                                                    We have never been disappointed with the food and service at the Fat Canary. My wife has said on multiple occasions that she’s had the best meal ever when we eat there. She usually gets the Salmon and I go with the scallops. We are from the NY Metro area and travel to some of the finest cities in the world. We’ve dined at several Michelin restaurants and have found that the Fat Canary is as good, if not better, than any of them at a fraction of the price. If there is any issue to complain about, it would be that getting a reservation is sometimes difficult. But that’s what you’ll find with many top notch restaurants.
