This beautiful restaurant —the name means ‘history’ -- is the £2 million brainchild of businessman Raj Rana and it’s been raking in awards since it opened its doors. Lovely restaurant only ever done lunch times so always been quiet ish, staff very helpful with making changes to any dish u order , complimentary bread and oil and olives are a really lovely touch and so very tasty, (tho I hate olives, I wud ask for extra bread instead )as is all other food we ordered plenty of monk fish and king prawns in my order and a very generous portion !

Great way to start any new year, so truly recommend this gastronomic Indian restaurant in Birmingham. Yes, it's has been there a while, and others may regard the newer entrants as better, but having been several times to Itihaas, it's never failed - especially the quality of the food and superb menu selection. Will be happy to visit again later in 2025!

Food was amazing and all but one person who served us were outstanding. Drinks order was wrong twice and the gentlemen who dealt was it wasn’t very willing after the second mistake. HOWEVER, I have been here in many occasions and the food and ambiance is ALWAYS great!
