We are Kaizen. It all started when longtime friends from Flushing, Queens, came together with an idea that would soon be introduced to their hometown city. They all shared the same love for Japanese traditions and the simplicity, yet, flavorful ingredients that are carefully constructed into each Temaki. Our passion is to bring an authentic and contemporary Temaki (hand rolls) & Omakase concept that highlights delicate hand rolls and artful craft cocktail pairings to Flushing, Queens. The executive chef, Ben, also a former executive chef at Sushi Seki, an Alumnus of Michelin-starred Tim Ho Wan, in Hong Kong, and New York’s O Ya and Kissaki omakase sushi bar. Very enjoyable 1st birthday dinner for our daughter! Delish bread with dip to start, yummy cocktails to cheers the occasion! Amazing octopus salad that daughter enjoyed very much, as well! Table side bucatini cacio e pepe and tiramisu were a hit with her, too! Husband had fuisili langoustine scampi that was YUM! They surprised my daughter and got everyone to sing to her with a cannoli and candle presentation! Overall amazing experience all around!

We have been visiting Mythos for many years and have never had a bad meal here. It continues to stand up to that standard. My favorite is the Branzino, always cooked to perfection.
