We are an authentic Italian wine café, proud to offer quality Sicilian wines and spuntini appetisers across the UK. In the spring of 2013 something extraordinary happened. Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century. I'm a huge fan of Casa and have been coming for over 20 years. I love to bring different groups of people with me, work colleagues, friends, etc and have had many of them fall in love after one visit too. Our visit this time was great once again. The staff couldn't be more attentive and helpful. My food and the food & drinks of most of us was great one again. The people who ordered penne dishes, like arrabiata and the casa italia signature dish didn't look as appetising and they left quite a lot of it but the al forno I had and the tomato garlic bread were as gorgeous as usual. Thanks. We will be back and will be sure to always order something covered in cheese!
