Pho Norwich is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular diets. We are accredited by Coeliac UK. Aside from our lovely food we offer a brilliant range of healthy juices, as well as delicious wine and beer, and a fantastic cocktail menu too. The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. An excellent evening meal, with a couple I have known since the 1960's, though this was the first time we had met up in person for forty years: it was an immensely happy occasion - not least because of the very efficient and friendly service and the warm welcome extended to us by Daniel. I have been a fairly regular customer over the past five years at the Norwich 'Cote' This evening's experience was a vast improvement, I have to say, compared with a meal I had with two friends at Norwich 'Cote' in June this year, when the ambience and service left much to be desired. I am delighted that the Norwich 'Cote' is back on track again and plan to go again next week.

A place of great character, with an astonishing selection of beers. The food is very good. Some dishes are done a little better than others, but overall a very good menu of perfectly edible dishes. Service is very efficient, friendly and helpful.
