Old San Juan​の本格的な料理が楽しめるベストレストラン

The restaurant was amazing. The food was great. Especially the appetizers. We had ceviche and foie gras. The foie gras was the best we ever had. We sat at the bar and the service was excellent even though the restaurant was very busy. The host was a little arrogant. We arrived early and he said they were booked except for the large tables and he wouldn’t seat two at a table for 4. Our reservation was for the bar, which was empty, so I asked why we couldn’t sit there. He responded, yes, any seat at the bar is fine. We sat at the end and ordered drinks. The host came over and rudely said we had to move because a regular customer was coming and she liked these seats. We didn’t mind moving but didn’t like his rude attitude.

Great little bistro. We sat outside and then got hit by rain so they really accommodated us and squeezed us inside. Great food and great service.

What a pleasant surprise! Well in advance, we made reservations for a Christmas afternoon meal. The setting was absolutely wonderful at a middle Terrace with cool breezes and shade from the bright sun. The meal was delicious. The service was superior and we very much appreciated being able to celebrate our special holiday in San Juan at EL Asador!

Great little restaurant in a very historic building. Staff are fantastic; they work hard and are very friendly. Food is also great. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and food was always consistent. Only negative comment is that they were understaffed for Christmas week. There were far too few staff and they were doing every job - bar tending, waiting tables, cleaning, seating people… Otherwise, we really loved it!

Marcel was an awesome waiter! He was so friendly and helpful. Everything we got was so yummy. Fried cheese appetizer had a wonderful guava salsa that we literally licked clean. Cuban sandwich was like the ones I grew up eating in Miami! The pork mofongo was very flavorful. Arroz con pollo was excellent. All the food was fresh tasting and very good. Would definitely recommend. A little pricey for locals maybe, $100 for dinner for 4 and one person had an alcoholic drink, the rest had water. It was 👍🏻 great overall.
