The experience was no less than brilliant. The ambiance expertly crafted. The staff exquisitely attentive and as a cook myself, the food was jealously fantastic. It’s always tough deciding what to order at Z Cucina, but you’ll always end up with something delicious no matter what you end up choosing. The menu changes seasonally, and I’d highly recommend checking out the seasonal options whenever you visit, but the goat cheese and sundried tomato ravioli remain a favorite with me and the guests I’ve taken there. The service is wonderful, and the dishes are pretty reasonably priced for the portion and quality you receive. Basically everything on the menu (with some exceptions) could be made gluten free, and they even offered a GF bread which was delicious. And the nice part about this also was the fact that they didn’t up charge for GF options like many other places I’ve gone to do!! The focaccia is sublime and I could drink the olive oil.The cacio e pepe was spot on. Tonight, I returned with my aunt and uncle and it did not disappoint! Among the three of us, we were able to order most of the menu so we could each try each dish. The service is impeccable and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is friendly, cozy - along with a food and the wine what a wonderful place to spend an evening. I can’t wait to return and, hopefully, introduce more people to this lovely hidden gem.
