No reservations for indoor seating.Hackney's is a classic American restaurant that serves authentic American food like burgers and fries, and has been a popular spot in Chicago since the Prohibition Era. Of all the amazing dishes here, one of the most popular is the Hackney Burger. This is a half-pound grilled burger served on two slices of rye bread, and is one of the reasons Hackney's has become so famous. Another delicious dish that stands out from the crowd includes Hackney's Original French Fried Onions. The french fried onions have placed in the top three onions rings in the country consistently, despite not even being rings! A Hidden Gem as it is located inside a multiuse building housed behind a Starbucks. There is no signage at the actual address but it is listed on the corner with the other tenants. Food was delicious. We ordered several sharables and each dish exceeded out expectations. Would definitely return.

Food was amazing if you enjoy savory/salty foods; trilogy spread, Mia's green salad, and paccheri pasticio were all very flavorful dishes! (Be aware that everything is rather salty though). Very good sized portions and prices!!!

My party of five, arriving in Evanston from three different cities, had an enjoyable evening. The food was delicious, the menu offered great variety, and the service was top notch. We ordered a diverse selection of dishes, some of which were recommended by our waiter, and there was really something for each person at our table to enjoy. A great experience!

The igloos create a magical ambiance, making it perfect for a special night out. The food was excellent—loved the Ruben egg rolls, which were incredibly tasty, and the Harrison Chicken sandwich was spot-on. Highly recommend for a unique dining experience!
