Welcome to your friend neighborhood bar and sandwich shop. Tucked away on Lafayette Park, just a block from the downtown and seaport neighborhoods of Salem, MA, The Babe is the perfect place to rendezvous after work for a cocktail, grab a bite with friends, or get together for a late night celebration. We take pride in our scratch kitchen with a menu inspired by Northeast sandwich culture and cuisine; touching on fan favorites from Philly to NY, and of course, Boston! Our menu includes specialties like house-ground cheese burgers, loaded Italian subs with freshly sliced salumi, crispy and cheesy mozzarella pockets, crispy wings, and more. The dining room and bar have a casual but intimate feel with high ceilings, updated vintage architectural features, and warm deco-lighting. The Babe also features live performances several nights a week as well as a cozy backyard patio in the warm weather season. The Landing was first established in 1972 and has withstood the test of time and the elements. Located on Marblehead Harbor our "On the Water Harbor Views" can't be beat. Chef Noe Ortega brings culinary excellence to each dish and our service is comforting and professional. Our Deck and Patio offer great views and atmosphere with Fresh Seafood right form the dock. Along with Steaks, Duck and plenty of Vegetarian and Gluten Free offerings you'll be sure to find what your looking for on our menu. We are on the water in the Historic District and close by Fort Sewall and Crocker Park as well as the Jerimiah Lee Mansion. Great wine and drink lists will accompany the ever changing menus created by Chef Noe Ortega.

    Another amazing dining experience at the chefs’ table near the open kitchen ! We were a party of seven. We had several craft cocktails ( memorable was a gin “tea” served in a beautiful teacup), vintage grand cru champagne, wine, just about every hot or cold appetizer, oysters with caviar, popovers( must try) , carpaccio ( outstanding) , many beautifully prepared and delicious entrées ( my favorite is the mushroom Campanelli) plus each of us had dessert ( Mexican chocolate ice cream, sticky pudding and blueberry ice cream - all hand made). I’m a local resident and took my family here the weekend of Thanksgiving ! This is the best restaurant scene ever to happen in Salem! Can’t say enough great things about this establishment. Our waitress Martina was outstanding and so was our sommelier!

    The Sunday brunch is amazing. The food was so delicious got a made to order omelette that was heaven..the coffee was fantastic. Service was great even while they were very busy.

    Our Bartender was excellent! The food was amazing! We got the steak and eggs and the breakfast wrap! Absolutely amazing!! Can’t wait to go back! But the star was the lemon ricotta donuts served warm with homemade jam!!!

    First time visitor. The food was delightful! Shared a buffalo cauliflower and it was amazing! The portion was good size for 2 or more. The pork belly burger was great! Had to take 1/2 home. My friend had theFerby burger and couldn't finish hers either. Will be back for sure!
