Tucked away on Lafayette Park, just a block from the downtown and seaport neighborhoods of Salem, MA, The Babe is the perfect place to rendezvous after work for a cocktail, grab a bite with friends, or get together for a late night celebration. Service - Our server was cordial , attentive and patient. We wanted an evening to sit and chat. Perfect! Food - having been a fan of Ithaki for over 20 years - first in Ipsiwch now in Peabody, the food is always excellent, the preparation consisrent. What else can be said …good food, consistent quality and service, friendly staff. Love it!!

The restaurant was great. The food was outstanding: an order of popovers to start, a roasted duck breast for me, a baked salmon for my wife left us so full we couldn’t get to dessert. The parking was a challenge and it was pretty noisy but our server, Martina, was attentive and friendly so we were very happy with the whole experience and will definitely be back

Our Bartender was excellent! The food was amazing! We got the steak and eggs and the breakfast wrap! Absolutely amazing!! Can’t wait to go back! But the star was the lemon ricotta donuts served warm with homemade jam!!!

First time visitor. The food was delightful! Shared a buffalo cauliflower and it was amazing! The portion was good size for 2 or more. The pork belly burger was great! Had to take 1/2 home. My friend had theFerby burger and couldn't finish hers either. Will be back for sure!
