The Punchbowl is a 17th century gastro pub, located in the heart of rural Essex and the Crouch Valley and the South Essex Salt marshes. We had a fantastic time at Cecconi’s Shoreditch location - the vibe was very chilled, the staff were lovely & engaging and the food was beautiful. Such a fabulous evening and atmosphere, we’ll be back soon.

We did the Nutcracker afternoon tea it was wonderful! Food was lovely the decorations and the way it’s all presented is fab! Highly recommend it well worth a visit!

Really enjoyed the Shisha lounge with and live music/ dj, they made me feel special on my birthday. After we had the table for 2 hours we had to leave, so I wish we would have been able to stay in the venue and not have to re queue to enter. Other than that it was good vibes and I’ll be back!

2nd visit in December for Christmas celebrations but this time lunch. The Xmas set menu offers a good selection of dishes offering plenty off choice for multiple visits. All the food choices for our party were excellent and service was also excellent as always. The restaurant was busy this lunchtime and this made the place lively providing a good ambience for lunch Thanks for a great lunch and the wonderful meals we have had over the last 12 months. Will be back in 2025
