Welcome to The Red Lion Bishopgate!On the banks of the River Wensum and a stone's throw from Norwich Cathedral. We serve fresh, locally sourced food all day, everyday. Our head chef Tom has created a menu suitable for everyone, including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. We serve a delicious Sunday roast every weekend.Brunch is also available every weekend 10:00am-12 noon (11:30am on Sundays). Please see below our food serving times:Monday - Thursday: 12:00-20:00Friday & Saturday: 12:00-21:00Sunday: 12:00-19:00 with a choice of roasts and bar classics.We always leave some tables free, so if you can't make a booking just pop in to see if you can grab a table! Food was lovely. Shame they had run out of steak by 8pm. Staff were great and place was lovely. Tables were quite close in places but would go back.

Had great service from Ed, who dealt with our drinks and our food. The ambience in the restaurant itself was lovely and mellow. The food was amazing and the price was exactly what you’d expect. Will definitely be back
