This 180 seat restaurant and bar has opened its doors to club members and to the public. Overlooking the breathtaking golf course, this historic spot offers both privacy and spaciousness. Guests will enjoy a contemporary American fare style menu infused with a modern twist. The approach is simple, they offer eclectic plates in a sleek ambiance setting combined with creative cocktails. In addition to our dining spaces we have a 3100-square-foot outdoor patio, which is heated and usable for much of the year. The Meadows Grand Ballroom has a capacity for up to 250 guests and is also a perfect location to host your next special event. So come see what the curiosity cravings are all about. The team at Bistro V (formerly known as Versailles) has been proud to serve the Greenwich community since 1994 at Méli-Mélo, but the story in town actually began in 1990 at the original Versailles café location a few doors up from our current location on Greenwich Avenue. The beloved Avenue has seen many changes over the years and when the current owner spotted the “for sale” sign posted on Versailles’ front door, nostalgia kicked in and could not let another Greenwich institution go! A facelift, a menu shift, and Versailles was reborn as Bistro V. Inspired by the classic bistro in France, the team at Bistro V is excited to share another cozy local hangout with their loyal patrons from Méli-Mélo and newcomers alike. North Street Tavern opened in 2010 and survived many challenges thanks to all of you. We are full scale restaurant serving great Italian and American dishes. Even though we are located on a golf course, we are open 12 months of the year, serving lunch & dinner every day. Breakfast is served every morning from April 1st - December 31st, from 8am to 10:45 am. Our outside deck holds 100+ guests & our lower deck accommodates up to 70 guests. Both are great for private functions or just come to relax & enjoy the food and atmosphere. We have 3 amazing chefs in the kitchen that bring to you amazing dishes. Inside holds approximately 120 guests along with a huge 15 seat bar & two dining rooms. The restaurant has been totally renovated, along with new additions + bathrooms.     My wife and I had a fabulous Valentine’s Day dinner at L’Escale. The staff was warm and friendly, attentive and engaging, the food was superb, and we had a lovely evening. I cannot say enough nice things about our experience that evening. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner or a special night together.

    We celebrated Valentine's Day at The Cottage and it was phenomenal. It was a pre-fix menu and everything we ate was delicious. We did the wine pairing that went with the dinner and it put our experience over the top. Carlos and the rest of the team went above and beyond and made our night incredible. We can't wait to go back to try their regular menu.

    i hesitate to write this review because i selfishly don't want this place to be discovered. Actually it's been there for decades but i was just introduced to it a few months ago, have been 7 times and can't wait to go back again - next time for brunch which i hear is a treat. Cafe V is a truly welcoming spot, wonderful European ambiance and the most gracious efficient staff you will find anywhere. I've been for lunch and dinner and it never seems crowded or rushed therefore the noise level is subdued esp compared to other places on a Sat night. The menus has a wide selection of uniformly delicious apps and entrees; everything my friends and i have ordered has been yummy. I especially love the blackened salmon salad; i could easily eat it every day but the buddha salad, the burgers and the other seafood is equally praiseworthy. And save room for dessert where Cafe V really excels- there is a huge selection of cakes, tarts and pastries all of it irresistible, esp the fruit tarts. The prices are quite reasonable esp for Greenwich and considering the caliber of the food and the overall wonderful experience I hope im not my own worst enemy in posting this review but Cafe V deserves to be singled out.

    Extensive menu with many choices including several specials. A portobello mushroom sandwich special was delicious. Server was attentive. Main dining room was full and no one was left waiting for their food. This is a great restaurant. They offer music on weekends.
