I have been dinning at Black Angus since the 1980’s. I was living in Monterey Park, Ca. And worked there too. Even now that I retired, and live in Rowland Heights, I still loves and enjoy dinning there, but now I go to the Whittier branch. The food is always excellent, and the service is great! This was my first time at 19Seventy. My date and I had a memorable experience here. We were starving when we arrived. We knew their signature Short Rib & Pappardelle pasta was going to be good, but didn’t know it would far exceed our expectations. It was delicious! We had a white wine with it, which was also great. The service was terrific. Our waitress was attentive and made sure we were doing good. She even helped me ask my date to be my girlfriend when I ordered dessert. She said yes. Overall, we loved the experience and can’t wait to come back.

I looove this place! I came here to celebrate my birthday in December and decided to take my mom here for her birthday!! We had so many different dishes! The vodka penne, lasagna al forno , rigatoni bolognese , arancini, fried mozzarelle , salad, focaccia , spaghetti , the bucatini cacio e pepe omg so delicious ! Best Italian restaurant in whittier!! Every plate Tastes just like Italy!!
