The Stuart Boathouse is a local's favorite waterfront dining location. The beautifully restored 1920's Restaurant is located directly on the river in downtown Stuart next to the band shell. Specializing in fresh caught seafood, oysters, sushi, as well as many favorites for the land lovers. Accompany dinner with a great bottle from our wine list or one of our signature cocktails. The Stuart Boathouse is great for special occasions or for just hanging out with some friends. The Stuart Boathouse is open seven days a week serving lunch and dinner. All tables have views of the river and we will always do our best to accommodate requests. Outside tables and window tables can not be guaranteed. We look forward to seeing you!

Facing southeast, the views span from the quaint village of Rio to the east all the way to the iconic Roosevelt Bridge to the west.With the luxury of being on the second floor, guests get an unimpeded view of the river as they gaze over the bows of the large boats and out across the water. Originating in Connecticut in 1945, with multiple locations in New England and Florida over the years, great food and service have been constant. The ambiance and service are spot on. Although our dinner choices were not to extravagant in that two of us had the burger, it was good. The presentation of the scallops and grits was great but the food was not too hot. The taste was good but a little salty. Overall it was a good choice for a business meal.

Food and service were excellent. Only complaints were they were out of the draft beer I wanted, wine the other couple at our table wanted, and had to wait nearly 20 minutes for a table with a reservation

Our first visit, their first night with a new menu. Our food was unbelievably good, tasty and creative flavors in the mango salmon. Prime rib was good. Service including attention from the manager was awesome. We definitely recommend this place and will return when we are in Stuart again.

We visited the tide house on a Sunday. The food was great. The service was also very good. Was surprised that the music did stop at seven so it was very quiet but again it was peaceful and beautiful. Well, definitely visit them again.
