Drawing inspiration from the region’s history and natural surroundings, the 156-seat freestanding restaurant reflects elemental themes of wood, water, iron, and fire, reminiscent of the carriage houses and blacksmith shops that once dotted the landscape. The centerpiece of Forge & Vine is an eight-foot wood fired grill and open kitchen with counter seating where guests can enjoy dinner while interacting with the chef. Welcoming residents as well as visitors to the area, Forge & Vine offers a strong sense of place with a design sensibility that brings in the outside with floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking pastoral views of Gibbett Hill. You have found your place. Our 99 seat restaurant opened in 2022 and features scratch made entrees, a delicious ever changing cocktail list and a wonderful ambiance that incorporates touches of Concord's history throughout. With a fun and cozy environment, The West Village Tavern has quickly become a local favorite. Chef Walace's diverse American style menu features some the most loved comfort meals as well as some delicious takes on international cuisine, like our scratch dumplings. We had a lovely meal with our whole family to celebrate a birthday. Everyone’s meals were delicious and the service was great. We had a large group and it all went very smoothly. We’ll be back.

Our waitress was beyond friendly, attentive, and congenial. Food and drinks were fantastic. My favorite part of the experience is that our waitress let us hang around after dinner for a while. I was catching up with a friend I only see about once a year so it was nice to be able to take our time and catch up. I also brought and infant and the restaurant was beyond accommodating. All the staff yielded to me when I took him to the bathroom. Did stars for actually having a changing table in such a classy restaurant.

So many good choices on the Tavern menu. We went with the French Dip and a Smash burger, a sangria and a rioja. Roberto was excellent.
