Meat & Potatoes is a high end gastropub in downtown Pittsburgh. Its kitchen takes as its inspiration the idea of elevating comfort food to a gourmet level. Its chefs are inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and its bar staff creates innovative cocktails and serves a range of wines by the glass and draught beers, as well. The menu at Meat & Potatoes is a new take on basic. Every time I come to Pittsburgh, this is must on my list of places to eat. The cocktails are great, the food is very creatively put together and has tons of excellent flavors. Great service, and overall a great experience.
