Augie's is just the best little place for French food. We were a party of four, seated upstairs t 6:45p. I brought some sparkling to start, and Ben, our server, handled it like a pro. Food was excellent -- the sauce on my salmon was the star of my meal. Some of us had the butter lettuce salad, which was HUGE. Throughout, Ben was attentive but not overpresent. We had a long meal, filled with conversation, but never felt rushed. I believe we were the last patrons to leave the restaurant (with a nice bag of leftovers). Our companions were very impressed by the food and the service. Just a lovely evening. Highly recommended.

The food choices make it hard to decide what to order! The tuna and the turkey sandwiches were piled high and tasty. The Cobb salad was super fresh and abundant. Brenda our server was attentive and took good care of us. We'll be back to try different dishes next time!

Lo & Behold Bar + Kitchen in Healdsburg is a must-visit for those seeking a break from wine tastings. The food menu, while secondary to the drinks, offers flavorful dishes made with fresh, local ingredients, making it a great complement to the bar experience. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between laid-back and stylish, creating an inviting and lively atmosphere. For amazing cocktails, good food, and a refreshing change of pace, Lo & Behold is the place to be.

I was a little surprised at the clam chowder, which is shellfish in a broth, not the creamy kind I am used to. It was good, but it is a lot of work to separate the clams from their shells, dispose of the shells, then dig out the clams from withinthe broth. Interesting experience! The shrimp risotto was excellent, the Dry Creek Sauvignon Blanc accompanied it well, and to finish, the affogato was really nice. Mency was attentive and professional. And we had a perfect table, in the corner overlooking the water. The weather was drizzly and foggy, which the restaurant can't control (I'm sure they wish they could), so I'll try to be back when I can enjoy the view.
