Founded in 1969 by brothers Peter and Taki Adamis, the Glenview location quickly became THE popular dining destination. Bluestone is a Chicago-style restaurant in Evanston that offers homestyle cooking in a warm and welcoming environment. Owner John, whose obsession with golf led to the more than 250 pin flags decorating the restaurant, opened Bluestone after transitioning from commercial film production. His goal was to create a locale that was filled with friendliness and familiar faces, all while serving a variety of menu options with a hometown feel.     We love dining at all the Lettuce establishments… When we dine at the Glenview Wildlife we always ask for Maryann.. but she was off this visit.. So we had Karen….. she was terrific…she really is an asset to the Glenview location…we feel we are lucky to have 2 fine servers

    Food was excellent. Service was great. Dining room is very loud, but the place was packed and it was a Saturday night. The only knock is that their bar has a very weak pour on spirits. Been here many times! I’d highly recommend going on a week night!

    We had a great dining experience at Coopeer’s Hawk. As members of the Wine Club, we are regulars, and always have a great meal, both quality and quantity! I love the unique PB&J Old Fashioned, which is a perfect cocktail to open. My wife and I shared a sausage and burrata flatbread as a starter, which was great. My wife had short rib risotto as her entree which she loved, and I thoroughly enjoyed my country rigatoni, a blend of several great flavors! Both resulted in a take home portion as well. The house Malbec matched perfectly with the food. Lastly, our server, Artem was friendly, efficient and attentive. He definitely added to the good time! Overall, more reasons to keep returning!

    It was my birthday lunch with my three closest friends. So I picked the place. I wanted Italian and we weren't disappointed. The soup, pasta and desert was all home made and delicious. We were transported to Italy. the reason I gave three stars for ambiance, is because it looked like a diner.
