The service was excellent, the food was great and the prices were fair. My date and I really enjoyed the place and would definitely go back again.

We love Belga-- it's one of our favorite neighborhood spots, and where we've gone for important dinners in our life! Chef Bart and the team are so welcoming and the food is always good, as is the service. Belga has become our comfort spot, and we love both their regular menu and their special menus (we've celebrated our last three Valentine's Days with them and loved each one). Whether you're looking for a low key date night or a special occasion, definitely recommend checking out this great spot.

One of the best restaurants in DC. Great food, perfect portions, good wine list, and great pacing of the meal. The calamari is fresh and flavorful. We split a Caesar Salad, and it came out on two separate plates, which was nice. I got the Chicken Parmesan, and my wife got a Seafood pasta dish. We both loved our entrees. We ended with an Oreo Cheesecake that was also delicious! The server didn't make eye contact with me at all, only my wife which was weird. Other than that it was an amazing experience!

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Lee, who was incredibly kind and took the time to personally greet everyone. The staff were just as welcoming, demonstrating excellent communication and attentiveness. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy warmth. The course meal exceeded all expectations—each dish was thoughtfully designed with exceptional taste, creativity, and a seamless flow of service. The alcohol pairing was also expertly curated, enhancing the overall experience. What stood out most was Chef Lee’s dedication to sustainability in his restaurant. I recommend visiting the website prior to your visit to understand his intent with the non-profit org. His vision is truly inspiring, and I deeply respect his ambition. We chose Butterworth's to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. We had a thoroughly delightful experience from the moment or arrival to departure. Butterworth's was hopping, every table and bar stool occupied. It's noisy, but we were able to conduct intimate conversation without raising our voices. The food was original, and delicious. However, to our disappointment, the tables around, obviously occupied by experienced Butterworth's patrons, enjoyed bowls of french fries - which we did not see on the menu (guess you had to be an insider), we won't forget for next time. And there will be a next time, probably with additional couples.
