Love the vibe and the service was excellent. The food is really good. One dish, the lamb barbacoa was a little salty, but I'm chalking it up to us dining late and will definitely try it again.

Took hubby here for his birthday. This was our second time visiting. The food was just as we remembered, if not even better! We started off with the gumbo, which was hearty in itself. My husband had the Short ribs, which were tender and flavorful. I had the blackened catfish, which was flaky, seasoned well, and melted in my mouth. We also ordered as sides: collard greens, mac n cheese, and cornbread. OMG, I could've lived off the cornbread alone! Greens were cooked to perfection, and mac n cheese was creamy but not overly cheesy. Needless to say, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, and we had a lot of leftovers. The service was top-notch, and it was a great experience overall. It is a small space, so be prepared to maybe sit a little close to other patrons. It was cool for us, great conversation. We will definitely be back, try something else, and remember those sides are enough to 2👍🏾

Took my girlfriend for some drinks at the Alderman and we loved the romantic ambiance and the intimacy of the bar! Drinks were fantastic and my only regret was not trying every drink on there.
