Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 2024 AA Restaurant of the Year (England). Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal. The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience. The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award.     Fantastic food and so different from your average Indian restaurant! Vegetarian and fish focus, but has vegan, chicken and lamb too but don’t expect to order much you have heard of before if you are heathen like me !! But every item was unexpected but delicious- portions small to medium so at 4 dishes per couple for main and we shared 2 starters and it was £75 with a beer so not silly but maybe £10-£20 more than an average Indian but this isn’t average! Weakness is it is in a housing estate in little chalfont in a parade of 3-4 shops and with very limited parking out front or at the back so may have to park 100 yards away!

    The most delicious food which such a wide variety on the menu. Lovely friendly atmosphere Staff were incredible and can’t do enough to help and offer different options on the menu

    Really good pub food at the Elephant & Castle. Family had a wonderful time and the kids menu was really good value with good portion sizes for 10 year olds. Quiet on a Tuesday as expected, but that only meant the food came quicker which was nice, I was spoilt for choice with excellent pies, but went for the beef short rib which was excellent. Everyone was happy and would happily return.
