In addition to full portion dining and our daily blackboard specials. Italian born chef/owner Antonio Bove creates outstanding Northern and Southern Italian dishes with a twist! Featuring recipes from his childhood. Amongst the restaurant's favorites are his meatballs topped with a tasty parmigiano sauce and of course his infamous eggplants balls, which are delicious and perfect for vegetarians. In 1688, Joseph Haviland built a tidewater gristmill that provided the locally-grown grains to a nearby bakery that supplied farmers and tradesmen with bread. It was the first public oven in New York State. Haviland’s Old Grist Mill and the public bakery were community gathering places for two centuries. Inspired by Joseph Haviland’s noble efforts, the Haviland Kitchen & Bar has been established for our neighbors.
