The filet with red wine and mushroom sauce was delicious and prepared perfectly medium rare.

Lunch was amazing! Excellent service and amazing food. We started with a glass of Prosecco while sampling the amazing focaccia! Best ever! Next the mushroom and black truffle soup followed by the fish sandwich of the day.

The Crossing continues to be an excellent choice for fine dining in St. Louis. The food and service are excellent. The night we were there it was somewhat noisier than past visits due to several large tables of men some of whom spoke and laughed loudly throughout the evening. When they left it was pleasant. I think the British are right when they say Americans do not know how to speak quietly at the dinner table.

Great place to go for decent food, especially if there are vegetarians in your party.
