The Watermans Richmond is an all day Restaurant and Bar in the centre of town, conveniently located on an ancient cobbled street that leads down to the waterfront.Our food is the best of British ingredients, served with a nod to southern Europe, with favourite dishes ranging from scallop ravioli to fregola, veal chops and day boat fish. We also have vegetarian and vegan options as well as delicious puddings including tiramisu, poached pears and profiteroles.We have been the site of a Public house for centuries and still offer a selection of draught beers however we have an extensive wine list focusing mostly on classic wines from Europe.The Restaurant is divided into several areas: luxurious deep leather banquette seating, bar counters perfect for lunches and more casual dining and cosy fireside dining in our upstairs room. Plenty of delicious choices on the menu; all those we chose were extremely tasty and more than came up to expectations. This was our second visit here after a very good experience earlier in the year and we were certainly not disappointed. Everything, including the warm welcome and friendly, knowledgeable service and of course the superb food and drink was excellent and we can’t wait to return! A perfect way to start our Christmas celebrations.

We haven’t been to the Black Swan in ages. The food and service were excellent. The staff attentive and engaging. The ambience was welcoming and Christmas was certainly in the air yesterday. All in all a fabulous evening and we will return again soon!
