The Creek has an urban feel — thanks to the rustic-industrial design with reclaimed wood and wrought-iron light fixtures that play into the muted charcoal-and-turquoise color scheme. Between a private dining room and a large communal table in the bar area, there’s plenty of seating for large parties, plus a heated patio that provides overflow for busy nights. We host a kitchen with a gleaming, copper-sided, wood-burning pizza oven that’s front and center as diners enter.In addition to the welcoming decor we've got 10 bar taps that rotate seasonal and local breweries. Occasionally we offer up special menu items along with tap takeovers with the likes of Barebottle Brewery, Drake's, Coronado Brewing Company, and more. In 1959, Frank and Tina D'Ambrosio decided to start a new restaurant venture along with their "Paisans" Mario and Enza Volpe, after Frank had much success with his first restaurant, the original "Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too! In Mountain View, CA. Named after a good friend of theirs, they opened the original "Giorgio's" in the Foxworthy Shopping Center in San Jose, CA. One year later, cousins Anthony and Louise Dambruoso, affectionately known to the family as "Sash and Lou", took control of the restaurant and ran it for the next eight years. Pictures and paintings of these folks still grace the walls of the establishment today. In 1968, Frank's four sons assumed control of the restaurant and still own and operate it to this day. In 1997 they opened a second location in Milpitas, CA, where they still offer the highest standard of quality food, service, and value to their customers. Bon Appetit!!

Using local ingredients with Italian influences, Terra is Eataly’s premium wood-burning grill restaurant located on the third floor of Eataly Silicon Valley. Named for “earth’ in Italian, Terra's menu features the season’s best ingredients cooked simply over open flames.     What an amazing dining experience! The restaurant is literally a beacon in downtown San Jose. The sign is bright and hard to miss. The moment we stepped inside we were greeted by the friendly host staff. The main dining room is beautiful and lively as well as a lovely bar. We took a peek upstairs where there a handful of dining tables, another bar and a great open window length counter where you can dine. Our service was friendly, professional and very prompt; our water never went empty. All the cocktails ordered were great. All of the food we ordered was delicious!! We loved and appreciated the complimentary appetizer and decadent chocolate at the end; wonderful touches. I’m so excited downtown finally has an excellent dining spot. We look forward to returning again! Well done Eos & Nix!

    Loved the food. The service was the best ever service I’ve ever gotten. We ordered the shrimp starter and two of the lobster with caviar and those were delicious. The salmon and salad with grilled chicken were great. And dessert selection was top notch. The best ever. Highly recommend.

    This was the one and time the kitchen was super slow in getting one out of four meals to our table… such a surprise to me as the service is normally spot on here. However, our waitress, Liz, handled the problem well and with a lot of patience with our obvious irritation! She gets a gold star for sure!

    Service, food, outdoor patio all great! Saturday/Sundays are the best because until 3 PM you can choose from both the breakfast menu and the lunch/dinner menu.
