Tucked away on Lafayette Park, just a block from the downtown and seaport neighborhoods of Salem, MA, The Babe is the perfect place to rendezvous after work for a cocktail, grab a bite with friends, or get together for a late night celebration. We take pride in our scratch kitchen with a menu inspired by Northeast sandwich culture and cuisine; touching on fan favorites from Philly to NY, and of course, Boston!     Had never been got a gift card for Christmas it was so much better than I had thought it would be. Will be sure to return. Everything was cooked better than expected came out very timely young lady who was our waitress was awesome. Her name was Sarah G. Very attentive.

    Went for the New Year’s Day Hip Hop DJ Brunch and it did not disappoint! Tried the housemade donuts (cranberry orange & espresso martini), and they lived up to the hype 100%! Seriously, if we weren’t so full, I would have taken a couple of the orange-cranberry ones to go! Then we had chicken & waffles and the pastrami hash. The chicken was incredibly crispy and the hash was delicious- lots of peppers & onions to complement the pastrami. Music was loud (we were right in front of the DJ) with some great selections! Service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back!

    Always a favorite. Never disappoints. We like to sit in the bar/ lounge area and people watch. Great atmosphere and great food. We always get the crab cocktail and the tenderloin with the risotto. We love the dim lighting and the well made cocktails. This has been one of our favorite places to go to for years.

    we had an absolutely wonderful experience at Toasano Forno...the staff was very welcoming and they made us feel totally comfortable. Our server Amal made our day..she was attentive and friendly..with a great presence. The food was outstanding...I'm anxious to go back and have the Cacio e Pepe....loved this place highly recommend it.
