Situated down a quiet side street, on the corner of elegant St Peter’s Square, The Carpenter’s Arms is an independent nineteenth-century pub with a beautiful garden where the food is the star.We focus on simple, beautifully cooked seasonal food. Our menu and Specials Board change daily: Simply cooked sustainable fish; British meats; delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes and tempting puddings to finish. The landlord could not have been more hospitable. Helped select a great local bitter, followed by the pie recommendation which was genuinely excellent. Service was outstanding and friendly. Not been here before but will definitely bringing more of my colleagues again!
