We are dog friendly but we ask that Fido is kept on leads at all times. Dogs are permitted in the bar, bar dining area and garden, but not in the lounge and main dining room. Rocky Bottoms started out as an 1800s brick kiln with a purpose to fire bricks. Eventually the brick kiln was unable to compete with larger competitors and closed down after WW2. Since this time the brick kiln has offered itself as agricultural storage until it collapsed and stood derelict.In 2008 the brick kiln’s potential and need of restoration was spotted by local fishing family; The Matthews. After years of love and attention, Rocky Bottoms, as we know it today was born. Our doors opened in May 2015, just in time for the start of the crab season. We deliver local shellfish from pot to plate in a laid back environment. Rocky Bottoms believes in enjoying the simpler things in life!

I look forward to coming to the Ship when I am in Norfolk. It is a special pub run by a great team. Specials menu was excellent. I had Delicious mussels with chips with a pint of Wherry. Great service and good price.. Ambience wonderful - warm fire in the hearth, beautiful Xmas tree, no screens or music just the background hum of people chatting and enjoying a meal out. Looking forward to my next meal there Liz

I had the black treacle cured bacon steak and although it filled me up I could have had another, it was so good. Definitely recommend. Also the scotch eggs are to die for.
