Falansai ("fuh-lan-sigh") is a Vietnamese-Mexican restaurant by chef Eric Tran located in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn. Just past historical warehouses and vintage clothing shops, you will discover the unique approach to elevated fusion where distinctive Vietnamese and Mexican flavors are artfully remixed with the best seasonal ingredients, while good vibes pulse in the background.Explore our signature Super and Classic Dac Biet dinner menus or dive into some of our celebrated dishes from the A La Carte options.Falansai was established in 2013, and reimagined in 2020. Henry Trieu originally opened Falansai in 2013 and named the restaurant for his father's pronunciation of the word "français." Henry closed the restaurant in early 2020 and sold it to Chef Eric Tran. Falansai "2.0" was reimagined in November of 2020. As a Vietnamese-Mexican and American from Chi-Town (and now New Yorker), diners can expect the unexpected from Eric's cooking.

Our earliest childhood memories include making homemade tomato sauce in our Nonna’s driveway located in Corona, Queens. Being apart of five children, we all had our jobs. From cleaning bushels of raw tomatoes to jarring the sauce with fresh basil there was always enough made so you never left Sunday dinner hungry. The service was almost the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. The waitress stood in front of us, just staring, looking at other people talking on her phone texting on her phone. It was almost impossible to get anything we needed however, the food was well worth a return visit.
