Step inside, descend below street level, and enter our vision of a cave. As for the fire, our focal point is a wood burning oven right next to the bar. You can sit close enough to feel the warmth, hear the crackle, and smell the scent of food being cooked, all while being entranced by the open flame. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience here, however we felt the server was somewhat inattentive. One of us had the tuna, which we order frequently when dining out and the preparation somewhat over-powered the tuna flavor. The bar is nice and we enjoy the atmosphere here!

Such a perfect night -we sat at the bar (love a bar stool with a back) and had great wine, brick oven pizza, and romantic ambience.

I always enjoy coming to Dunns River. The music is good, the food is amazing and it’s the only sit down Caribbean experience that is top tier compared to the normal hole in the wall establishments with the plex glass separating the customers. Home run for date night. My only wish is that the music isn’t so loud all the time. It’s so hard to have a conversation. I stayed away from Friday & Saturday and picked a weekday date night thinking it would be a quieter background noise kind of night. Nope. We were still shouting at each other. After our meal we ending up walking around in the rain so we could hear each other lol. Something to consider for management maybe.
