However, despite having a reservation, we waited about 45 minutes for a table, which was very unusual. Once seated, our drinks arrived promptly, and we started with their calamari and family-style salad. The calamari was delicious as always, but the salad felt a bit skimpy. For our entrées, my friend and I ordered the Pappardelle Alfredo with crabmeat and shrimp. Unfortunately, it was disappointing—the shrimp, crab, and even the noodles lacked flavor. My husband, on the other hand, enjoyed his veal. This was the first time we’ve been underwhelmed by Sammy’s, which was surprising given our past great experiences. Hoping it was just an off night!

Food and service is consistently excellent at Chiapparelli’s!

Our regular pre-event restaurant. Lots of great, solid choices. Service is unfailingly efficient and responsive. Vibe is energetic without being overwhelming. Will definitely be back.
