Bar Mezzana is a coastal Italian restaurant by Chef Colin Lynch at Ink Block in Boston’s South End, specializing in crudo and hand-made pasta. Takeout and delivery services are available via our website and Uber Eats. There are three options for seating: Standard (Indoors), High-Top (Indoors), and Outdoors. If one of these options does not appear, it is because we are currently booked for that type of seating during the date and time you are seeking. We offer a fifteen-minute grace period and ask that you call us if you will be running late or your reservation may be canceled. We allow an hour and a half for a reservation of 2 guests and 2 hours for reservations consisting of 3 or more guests. All outdoor patio reservations are subject to being canceled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to seeing you soon!

    This was an absolutely amazing experience!!! We came for lunch and were blown away!! Damon was our server and was such a wonderful help. There were so many things on the menu we wanted to try, that he suggested we make them into courses and even had items split for us, so both of us could try. The lobster bisque in itself was AMAZING!!! Lobster in every bite, warm and creamy... the perfect food for the weather in BOSTON...Honestly, I could have stopped with the bisque...but the tuna/noodle salad came...my husband had the oysters and tuna tartar...Then we split the WELLINGTON...ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...life should really offer more WELLINGTON!!! It was PERFECT... We Love Boston and her food, but the MOO was all that...definitely will be Back....super shout out to Damon for walking us through the menu and helping us... the splitting of the wellington was brilliant... Thank you MOO!!!

    We have heard about Contessa for well over a year and finally got there. It was worth the wait. Ride to the 17th floor of the Newbury and enter another world - one of tastefully sumptuous ambience with superb "welcome to Contessa" service and food to die for. The view is amazing, especially from the tables for two along the windows, but make no mistake, this is not a view restaurant. A little pricey, but fair value, and the food is so delicious that we were sorry when each course came to an end. Parking is a challenge (other than an expensive valet option) but in good weather, nearby garages are less than a 10 minute walk. Give it a try! We are sorry we waited so long to get here.
