th_prsrv (pronounced The Preserve) is a tasting menu concept from Choctaw tribal member David Skinner and Thai native Benchawan Jabthong Painter. These two accomplished chefs invite you on a journey through time exploring the evolution of the cuisine of their ancestors and of the unlikely inspiration both cultures received from one another through the cross-pollination of ingredients brought about by European exploration.th_prsrv is at once an indigenous restaurant exploring ancient techniques through modern presentation and at the same time a statement proudly declaring: true progress is only possible when we explore and understand the forgotten past.

Main Street Bistro is located in the historic Old League City district right next to Helen’s Gardens on Main Street (hence the name). We enjoyed a wonderful dinner experience, with excellent service from Katie. The Mixed Tempura appetizer was wonderful, with nice pieces of calamari and shrimp. My Wife loved the Pumpkin Tom Kha soup, which is available with the pumpkin flavor only a limited time. I devoured the Crab Bisque, which is absolutely legendary. The Kang Ped with shrimp has become my favorite main dish. It's absolutely divine. Merlion is more than just a great Thai restaurant; it has a special vibe and atmosphere that exemplify the very best of what Seabrook, TX has to offer. We have been dining here for years, and the staff here have become like family to us. Don't forget to try a wine from their extensive wine list. They have a large selection of wines to suit almost any palate.
