There is nothing better than a menu with the right balance of options, consistently excellent food, top notch service, and an ambiance fit for all levels of revelry. Nicholas may not be in the kitchen as much as the old days, but he makes up for that as the consummate, colorfully shirted host. Plus where else can you still dine under holiday lights in January? And where else can you get the best ice cream in the world that is loved by all?

Again, this neighborhood gem didn’t disappoint! The chicken tortilla soup was delicious as were the Shrooms! One guest had the full rack of spare ribs! Enough for two meals and “fall off the bone “ delicious . Two other guests had burgers - they were very happy with their choice . I had meatloaf - it was over-the-top wonderful! Our server was attentive and friendly- and ,as usual, the manager Alfredo stopped by our table several times to make sure we were not in need of anything. A perfect dinner and Saturday night out!

Great service and food was amazing. We order the Roasted Octopus salad delicious and the stuffed mushrooms. Loved the sausage stuffing in those. We had the lobster penne rigate, shrimp risotto and the scallop risotto along with the clams mussels in linguine. Everything was amazing. Thank you for a beautiful birthday dinner.

Robert N. was a fabulous waiter. The food was delicious. Just the mash potatoes were cold and sent them back-still cold-but we took them to go and they were fabulous! I always love the food, service , and waiters. We love the Molly Pitcher. Thank you Rob for singing Happy birthday to me! And of course we went for after dinner drinks to the bar. All the bartenders all the time are wonderful.

Food and service was outstanding! Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.
