I felt walking away from Canal that this was far enough from tourist spots that it was going to be good. I chose Brennan’s as it shows as an “Icon” in NO. It did not disappoint. The food and service were spectacular and I loved the story of the Bananas Foster as it was being prepared. I will gladly return. Get the duck!! Awesome!!

I chose this restaurant to celebrate our girlfriend’s Bday… it was amazing… The atmosphere, the customer service and the food. The entire staff were genuinely nice and welcoming… Oooo almost forgot the Fabulous drinks and bartender. Try this spot for any occasion, you want be disappointed.

This is our third visit to August. It gets better every single time. This isn’t just food, it’s a meal that you won’t soon forget. Each dish brings you to a place beyond description, leaving you wondering and asking, how did they do that? By far the best restaurant in the city and dare I say in the country. It is not cheap but you you will leave satisfied beyond words!

This is the best food we’ve had in NOLA, in the warmest, most elegant and most welcoming setting! Janine, Davi and Justin were excellent guides to the historic traditional menu. The smoked pompano with capers, sliced so thinly and smoked in-house, was a beautiful starter. My husband had the quail and seafood boudin, crunchy outside and tender within; and I loved the speckled trout meunière with perfect haricots verts and. Crabmeat; and those soufflé potatoes—oh my! Also loved the Mille-feuille for dessert…light as a feather!

My meal began with a ribeye, cooked to absolute perfection—succulent, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Alongside, I enjoyed Pommes Purée, so creamy and smooth it could easily be mistaken for a work of art. To cap off the evening, I indulged in a sour cream cheesecake paired with a rich, aromatic coffee. The dessert was divine, a perfect balance of tangy and sweet. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service and the enchanting ambiance. Seated with a breathtaking view of the mighty Mississippi River, the atmosphere was both elegant and serene.
