NK Restaurant (Nuvo Kitchen) is a unique fusion twist on traditional Caribbean cuisine inspired by multicultural backgrounds. Uncle Bacala’s specializes in Italian-style seafood and other inventive dishes in its warm and cozy New Hyde Park eatery. For a tantalizing start to your meal, enjoy the mozzarella in carrozza cheese-stuffed fried country bread and the mashed potato and mozzarella croquettes, both served with marinara sauce. Some of Uncle Bacala’s house entrées include the breaded salmone in agrodolce served over eggplant in a honey garlic sauce, the beef filetto di manzo with mushrooms, roasted potatoes and spinach in gorgonzola-cognac sauce and the apricot-glazed grilled pork chop. What an amazing experience we had while visiting this restaurant .The service was out of this world .Our server shabir went above and beyond to make our visit memorable .The food was so delicious .Nice place Great Steaks and sushi.Must go there on our next visit in seaford

We decided to try Uncle Bacalas because they were running an attractive anniversary special and we are so happy we did! The food was excellent as well as the ambiance, ( beautifully decorated … old school Italian with red checkered tablecloths). Our waiter , “Carmine” was professional and courteous and the Cosmopolitan cocktails were the best we’ve ever had! This will be a favorite spot for dinner from now on. 😊

As always, every meal is delicious here. The sushi is the freshest around. I had the yellowfin tuna as a main course and my husband had the beef shanks. Both meals were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The cocktails are very reasonably priced and again, so delicious. I had the pumpkin martini and my husband had the espresso martini. This place never misses.
