From its humble beginnings in the quaint Hudson River town of Piermont, New York, Olar was known for serving up rustic Neapolitan pies, classic Spanish tapas, and hand crafted pastas that drew in both locals and foodies from all parts of New Jersey, upstate New York, and New York City and kept them coming back for over a decade.Now in its new location in Northvale, New Jersey, the restaurant, now known as Olar Noso - which means "our home" in Galego, the language spoken in Galicia where the Dominguez family is from - is an evolution in not only name alone.They have managed to scale the restaurant concept generously while replicating the quality and preserving the reputation the former Olar had garnered over the years. Evolving into Olar Noso meant giving Olar's loyal customers everything they loved, while also enhancing their experience with more seating, more elbow room, a full bar, a private event space, and, finally, ample parking.

FARM’s Chef Renè Xelo, who has been with the restaurant since its inception in 2016, has curated a casual dining experience influenced by the many notable purveyors from across the Hudson Valley, best known for fresh produce, sustainably sourced seafood, and delectable bread and pastries. FARM’s thoughtful culinary concept evokes the local experience of gathering together in a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy great food and drinks. The massive ceiling-to-floor windows offer diners beautiful views of the outside patio while inside, guests are surrounded by colorful artwork created by local artists from the tri-state area.The bar program will offer delightful wines, from some of the oldest vineyards in the country, as well as locally brewed bourbons and ales.     The food is creatively paired and served beautifully. As well as the place! Daniel our server was personable and pleasant. Overall a great spot. Can't wait to go back in the warmer months to enjoy the outside seating :)

    My mom and I enjoyed a wonderful holiday lunch, which has become an annual tradition for us. Our meal was prepared to perfection, and the service we received was outstanding. Our servers were attentive and friendly, and we were made to feel welcomed. The restaurant was decorated tastefully for the holidays, which added a special touch. Everything we ordered- salads, penne with vodka sauce, and filet of sole- was prepared and presented with great care and attention to detail. The strawberry mojitos were excellent, as well. We greatly appreciate how well the staff worked together to provide such a memorable dining experience for us.

    The food was exceptional! We had the calamari, mushroom soup and arugula salad for appetizers, brick chicken and ahi tuna entrees, and a side of the bolognese. Everything was cooked to perfection, including my son’s buttered pasta with cheese! For dessert, we snagged the last piece of Xmas Eve tiramisu and it did not disappoint! The ambiance was comfortable and cozy and we felt really taken care of by the staff! Cocktails were also fantastic & we went to go back soon for live music at in bar on Thursdays! 10/10 no notes!!

    Delicious food and great service. Restaurant was very energetic. We did have a nearby guest who didn’t know how to moderate her voice and really needed to consider others around her. Otherwise, staff were fast, nice and food and drinks were great.
