The menu includes seasonal scratch made items, sustainable meats & produce from local farms and purveyors. The White Oak Burger is a community favorite and has been recognized as the best burger in Howard County for several years. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a special dog menu. The bar has 42 rotating craft beers with a wide selection of styles with a free-to-join mug club. This includes a specialty cocktail menu with different seasonal ingredients along with a fresh mocktail menu. I bought my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it! Though it was not our first time, going to Blackwall Barn & Lodge always feels like a new experience. The servers, Tasha and Christy, were working double time with serving the floor and the bar, but they were consistent and attentive as well as just fun to interact with. The managers do not shy away from helping run food and speaking to customers. For appys, we order the fried tomatoes and a caesar salad. My bf has a tree nut allergy, and the caesar salad does come with almonds and granola, but they were apologetic and expeditious in providing a new salad without. Our entrees were EXCELLENT! We both had specials, I had the crusted lamb with mashed potatoes and veggies and he had the salmon with polenta....amazing! As it was his birthday, they no longer do the free dessert, but they offer a coupon and card for your next visit. Overall, I will be returning....with or without him LOL
