The Michelin Starred, Fordwich Arms, located in the smallest town in England, dates as far back as 1828. Boasting open fireplaces for the colder winter months, creating a cosy and welcoming ambiance. Daniel and Natasha Smith took over The Fordwich Arms in 2017 and were awarded a Michelin Star within the first year, as well as being in the top 100 gastro pubs in the UK, multiple culinary awards, notable wine awards and various other accredits, a testament to their hair work and talent. The seasonal menus focus on provenance, showcasing the best of local Kentish ingredients, sourced directly from local farms and producers. This historic pub set in the rolling hills between Ashford and Hythe is a delight. While the menu is very similar pubs in the same Pickled Egg Group the ambience and quality of staff puts it head and shoulders above the rest. While the menu is unadventurous it does deliver good food at reasonable value. Deserves its reputation as one of the best pubs in Kent

What a lovely treat! So many lovely fresh sandwiches with really tasty fillings; scones and cakes with mini mince pies for the seasonal touch. A lovely big pot of tea with a 3 minute timer for the perfect brew and a glass of Prosecco to celebrate the occasion! What a lovely way to celebrate a birthday and start the Christmas season! Such lovely staff, attentive without being obvious and patient when we were making decisions. Thank you! We will come again and let our friends know how nice a time we had!
