Jam Delish is an independent family-owned Caribbean vegan restaurant and cocktail bar in Angel, Islington. Founded in 2020 by siblings Jordan and Chyna, their idea was one that came purely from their desire to bring their grandparents authentic, traditional Caribbean recipes from their family home to the London food scene, with a fresh and modern take, inspired by their own upbringing in a vegan household. Fusing their love for plant-based food with their Caribbean roots, they identified a niche gap in the market for authentic, Modern Caribbean Vegan Cuisine. With five-star reviews across the board from both customers and food critics alike, the siblings have now opened their first ever flagship restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of Angel, Islington.

Welcome to SKÅL Nordic Dining - the neighbourhood Nordic restaurant located in a Grade II listed building at 149 Upper Street - a well-known address for high quality Scandinavian food and drink. Our restaurant SKÅL, meaning ‘Cheers’ in Swedish, opened on the 2nd of December 2019. We serve traditional Nordic recipes but with a modern, seasonal twist - all underpinned by the term 'husmanskost' meaning traditional home cooked Swedish food. Clean, earthy, minimalist interiors set the tone for our customers dining experience with whitewashed walls, wooden table tops and piles of logs stacked up in front of the open kitchen to fuel the grill. The restaurant caters for food allergies, so I highly recommend this restaurant for people who are celiacs. We have been a few times with our daughter as she is a celiac and she have never had any issues with the food. The meals have great.

Terra Rossa is a pretty restaurant serving very good food. We were there on Christmas Day (lunch, 4 people), the atmosphere was very lively, and the food we ordered from the festive menu (different starters and mains) was all well presented, well cooked and simply exquisite! Desserts also were a success! We were all very happy!

It was a delightful experience eating at Jam Delish - the food was really delicious and beautifully presented. We had a big group of 12 and Jordan, the restaurant owner, was really helpful in getting all our preorders in. I would definitely come back again and have recommended it to several people since!

Had a pleasant meal, served quickly and kindly. The food was nice not spectacular. I was asked if I wanted an extra egg on top of my noodle dish and I didn’t. The thing that put me off were two people on the table besides us who shouted for service. They must have been drinking because they were loud and unduly impatient with busy waiting staff. If I were the restaurant manager I would have made it clear that staff are not dogs at the beck and call of loud impoliteness, but people doing their best in à busy restaurant deserving respect. Loud swearing customers at the table next to me put me right off an otherwise perfect restaurant experience..

Lovely place with gorgeous food. Perhaps a little understaffed on the night although the staff we did meet were really friendly and helpful and the food came quickly once we’d ordered. Five stars!!
