Horseshoe Grill in North Reading has been family-owned since the 1920s when it was originally a supper club for members only. That changed in 1957 and, since then, patrons have come from all over to sample the famous ribs that have made Horseshoe Grill an institution. The relaxing atmosphere inside makes it the perfect place to get to work on a rack of ribs, lobster Rangoon, Thai chili calamari or nachos. Had a delicious dinner there. Choice of 6oz or 9oz pour for wine which is good for those who don't want a large glass of wine, or else could try more than one. Had fruitti de mare - lots of seafood and a delicious marinara sauce. Also had chicken florentine. Sauced just right, tender chicken and hand-made penne - delicious! Finally, shared a cannoli for dessert - the filling is made there and was heaven in every bite! Can't wait to go back.

Pizza was fantastic, we split a sausage and pepperoni and the firecracker chicken, both were excellent! Very busy place so requires a little patience on getting the pizza but well worth the wait!

Food was perfect! Hot, large portions, & great service. We love coming here, there’s always enough leftovers to have a another meal the next day. Chicken, pasta, seafood are all delicious and Denise our server was attentive, fast, friendly and checked on us often, she was great!
