The Twits Afternoon TeaOpening from 1st August 2024Muggle-Wump brownies, Jam Roly-Poly sponge and our Trick or Twit scones – indulge your inner child and enter into the story of The Twits with our deliciously themed Afternoon Tea inspired by Roald Dahl’s iconic book.Items include a rather wonderful new take on Wormy Spaghetti (‘Hampshire’ Cucumber Worms, Cream Cheese, Wholemeal Bread), Mrs Twit’s Bird Pie (Chicken, Leek & Ham) and a culinary exploration of Mr Twit’s beard across three separate savories. Since the Romans left, the Italians have been operating a policy of conquering the world's palate, plate by plate, and traditionally-run family restaurants like Cotto are their failsafe. The welcome is unfailingly warm here, the decor is authentic in feel, with murals on the walls, and the pleasures of the table are taken seriously indeed. Cotto is a 5-minute walk from the London Eye and the Aquarium, perfect for before or after family outings and it's also very popular with business customers during the week. There's live music on offer, too. As for the menu, try classic Tricolor salad to start, one of more than a dozen pastas, like Spaghetti carbonara, and a main course of simply and beautifully grilled Sirloin steak. Or just opt for a pizza and be happy!

    Absolutely fantastic experience for 2 Twits loving kids - and their mums. The artwork and attention to detail was fantastic and the tea room set up was so pretty. Food was fun and delicious - The Twits would have been proud. Service was great and the staff were so lovely and accommodating with nothing being too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend.

    Dining at Kitchen India was an absolute delight from start to finish. To begin, I was served a plate of mini pappadoms accompanied by a variety of three flavorful dips. Each dip was unique and bursting with flavor, setting the tone for the meal ahead. For the appetizers, I ordered the Tandoori Chicken, and it was nothing short of perfection. The chicken was tender, juicy, and marinated to perfection with just the right balance of spices. Next, I tried the Chilli Chicken, which delivered an authentic and bold taste. It was a bit on the spicier side, making it an excellent choice for spice lovers. However, if you prefer milder flavors, you might want to skip this dish. But for those who enjoy a kick of spice, it's a must-try! Moving on to the main course, I ordered the Chicken Biryani, and it was phenomenal. The fragrant rice was infused with a medley of spices, and the chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. To complement the biryani, I tried the Cheese Garlic Naan, which was an absolute highlight. The naan was served both crispy and soft, as per my preference, showcasing their ability to customize dishes to the customer's liking. The exceptional customer service at Kitchen India enhanced the entire experience. The waitress were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, even recommending a dessert to complete my meal. Based on their suggestion, I tried the Kulfi, a traditional Indian dessert, and it was a perfect 10/10. Creamy, rich, and full of authentic flavors, it was the ideal way to end the meal. If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine or looking to explore the vibrant flavors of India, I highly recommend visiting Kitchen India. From the warm hospitality to the delicious dishes, it’s a dining experience you won’t forget!
